In Solidarity with the American People in their Struggle for Social Justice

I am sending this message from this jail where I am presently detained, suffering physically and psychologically at the hands of the I.N.S., which handed me over to the guards in this filthy jail in Passaic County, where I have been a victim after 9-11. I am being held here mainly for publicizing the massacre, the destruction of the infrastructure of the Palestinian people, by the Israeli occupation and the settlers, most of whose weapons are of American manufacture. Now the Government of the United States has much to do with this situation since it supports the terrorism of the Government of the butcher Ariel Sharon economically, militarily and logistically. The objective of Sharon and his right-wing Administration is to displace the Palestinian people from the areas occupied on June 4, 1967.

The U.S. wants to conquer the Persian Gulf for its imperialist interests. This is seen very clearly in the imperialist campaign of George Bush and his administration, which wants to seize the oil of Iraq, the Arab and Iranian peoples, while here in the U.S. an anti-Arab and anti-Islamic campaign is being carried out of which I am one of the victims. But as long as I have a torch burning in my heart, I will fight here against the injustice that I and the others detained by the I.N.S. are suffering.

I unite my voice and that of the other prisoners detained by the I.N.S. here in Passaic Country jail, Paterson, N.J., with you in this demonstration against the unjust war, that Bush is carrying out against the Sovereignty of Iraq and its people, continuing his warlike campaign after having destroyed the infrastructure of Afghanistan and its people, at the expense of the American people and particularly those who are the most victimized, the oppressed people and the working class. He is creating an economic disaster for the country, leading the whole world to chaos because of his ambitions of power, with the mentality of a tyrant.

So far there is no real proof of what happened on 9-11, but we do know that the United State wants to take over the Middle East, in a strategy of which Israel is a part. It plans to seize the oil and the wealth of the whole region, using the U.S. army as gendarme for the multinational corporations, carrying out its goal for a New Order to control the whole world with its arsenal of war.

Therefore I am making this call as a Palestinian, as part of the people of the United States whom I thank for their hospitality. We take part together, regardless of differences in color, ethnicity or religion in this struggle against injustice and racism. This is the time to be united against injustice and saying

• No to the Military Occupation of Afghanistan!
• No to the Warlike Campaign Led by G.W. Bush and his Administration!
• Yes to the Exercise of our Constitutional Rights, Our Shield for Our Lives in this Country! 

• The People United Will Never Be Defeated!
• United We Will Win!
